Speciality & Fine Fair 2017

We attended the Speciality & Fine Food Fair at London Olympia and we discovered it provided an excellent opportunity to meet and network with independent retailers, delicatessens, importers, distributors & wholesalers. There was over 700 national and international Artisan food producers and suppliers, enabling us to meet new contacts to discuss business opportunities and to keep up to date with the latest industry trends.
Whilst meeting the many business owners we were able to discuss the challenges they face running small to medium sized food business’s and the many ways we would be able to support them to make life easier and to offer cost savings to their business’s
We were able to attend the forums and listen to the advice provided by the forum experts, which was so widely sought after by the attendees. The different speakers offered many practical tips on routes to market, various product innovations, starting up your fine food business online plus much more.
Speciality & Fine Food Fair’s curation process was focused on ensuring that they showcased a vast array of new and diverse producers. Whilst we were within the Discovery Zone we were able to uncover the latest food and drink gems from the new businesses as stands which were exclusively reserved for companies who had been trading in the UK for up to 36 months. Again, whilst there we were able to meet the business’s to discuss any areas where we could support their business’s.
Overall it was an excellent experience, where we learned a lot about the ever-changing industry, meet some great new contacts and hopefully will look to forge some great working relationships.
Next year we will be in attendance, it runs from the 2/9/18 – 4/9/18. you can register at http://www.specialityandfinefoodfairs.co.uk/
